Specifications:

The Deluxe light therapy mat has 2 light types:

1. Red light (660 nanometers): enters the tissue at a depth that helps the body promote the wound healing process and triggers cell energies.
2. Infrared light (850 nanometers) is not visible to the eye. Infrared goes deep into the body and helps reduce pain in the horse’s muscles, tendons and joints.

The Deluxe Light Therapy Mat uses combined light (660 nanometer red light + 850 nanometer infrared light), which means that you get a better treatment of the area where you use the mat.

Flash mode can be used to affect cells in a different way. This can be used if you want to improve tissue repeats.

The Deluxe Light Therapy Mat has 5 program levels (P1-P5) with varying power and flash frequency, as well as a timer function with 9 different time settings.

The Deluxe Light Therapy Mat consumes approximately 120W, which results in a temperature increase of the treated area by approximately 2-4 degrees C at 20 minutes of operation.

The Deluxe Light Therapy Mat has a power density of approximately 8mW/cm2, which corresponds to approximately 0.5 Joule/cm2 per minute. Optimal infrared treatment requires around 4-6 Joules for surface treatments and up to around 10-15 Joules for deep treatments. This corresponds to treatment times of around 8-12 minutes for surface treatments and around 20-30 minutes for deep treatments.

Do NOT use Riislund Light Therapy on pregnant mares or pregnant women.

Warranty:

The product is covered by a 2-year statutory warranty. However, the product may wear out within 24 months if the product is misused, exposed to moisture, or subjected to other forms of abuse.

Do NOT use the product either on or off on the horse if the horse is in motion, such as in the paddock or riding.

Do NOT use the product on the horse without supervision.

Do NOT use the product with any other cords than those supplied.

Do NOT sit, stand, or place heavy objects on the product, as it is not suitable for these purposes.

The warranty is void if the product has been used incorrectly.
